Hi, have you ever wondered if you should buy an e-bike? I purchased an e-bike in 2018. It was a fine decision. If I consider the benefits. I will tell you, I have used it when my vehicle broke down. However, that is not why I bought this e-bike.
I boondock and camp in order to test solar equipment. My vehicle cannot reach certain places. So I purchased an e-bike. That is the reason, why.
My e-bike is still going strong. I have posted a video of a e-bike review and overview of the Ancheer e-bike. Some people will say you will need the most powerful e-bike. However, the rules are changing and my e-bike is allowed on bike trails, while the most powerful e-bikes are not legally allowed. The Ancheer e-bike can reach speeds of 17 to 20 miles per hour without pedal assist. That is actually great. I have also included the new e-bike classes below.
This is the best folding e-bike to buy. I have had mine for over 3 years and it is still going strong. Please watch my review and secondly an overview of this electric bike. I cover wattage, distance, and suspension. This is a foldable e-bike. Ancheer is a trusted company. The AMP hours match up fine for the wattage of this e-bike.
How much do you want to spend? The most powerful e-bike are not always the best. If you want a powerful bike, maybe consider a motor bike. The new laws and classifications will keep the faster e-bikes off of the bike trails. There are e-bike classes now. Zion National Park allows: Class-1, pedal assist e-bikes on their new bike trails. Usually Class-1 e-bikes can reach 20 miles per hour. Please watch my e-bike review.
There are three e-bike classifications: Class-1, Class-2, Class-3. What are they? and what do they mean?
Class-1: pedal assist electric motor is a motor that only works while you pedal. The top speed is 20 miles per hour.
Pedelic: a bike that has an electric motor that assists only while pedaling.
Class-2: Top speed of 20 miles per hour, also has a throttle which allows a full-electric motor with no-pedaling.
Class-2 e-bikes can have pedal assist and usually do.
Class-3: (a bit hazy, personally). Top speed of 28 miles per hour with pedal assist. I have seen them faster. Class-3 is illegal in California. You cannot take them on a bike path. Some can be ridden on the road, shoulder of the road, or curb to curb. There may be keys, in the future, to lock speed and permit these faster e-bikes on a bike trail. Right now, technically they are not allowed on the current bike trails. There are even faster e-bikes.
My Ancheer folding e-bike is considered a Class-2. Also, my e-bike is foldable and great for storage. It has served me since 2018. I use it for quick errands and even riding in the dessert. I did this to show that I trust this e-bike.
