Driving along the southern California coastline is beautiful. This video shows some cliff lined beaches and finally Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park along with McWay Falls. I spent only gas and food money. The cost of this trip was 150.00. Enjoying a simple road trip along the coast is doable. However, it is 2020 and Pfeiffer Beach is closed. Beach access to McWay Falls is closed. The coast-line is crowded with RVs and campers.
When you arrive here, there is a line of vehicles parking along a lined off road of no parking, but people are parking anyway to take the shot of the waterfall.
McWay Falls an 80-foot (24m) tall fall along the Highway 1. During high tide this waterfall empties right into the Pacific Ocean. Access is thru Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. It is 2020 and access is closed. Still even at a distance this waterfall is beautiful.
Farther north is a little bridge call Bixby Creek Bridge AKA Bixby Canyon Bridge. Bixby Creek Bridge is back open again after being closed for a short time.
